Beauty Bliss Cosmetics Surpasses Commercial Brands In Gentleness, Affordability, and Wearability

Having used Beauty Bliss for 8 years now, I can honestly say that I have never found a better mineral makeup, and I have tried A LOT! I have rosacea and highly sensitive skin, so I find that many skin care brands and make up brands leave me with red, angry, sore skin but not Lynn's products. I'm also not great with ingredients like Mica but I find I can still use all of the Beauty Bliss products, even the regular foundations and eye shadows. Not only are they non-reactive and gentle but I get so many compliments on my skin (something that never happened before finding these).

Lynn's service is second to none and postage to Australia is pretty fast (usually 2 weeks). Trust me, you will never find a commercial brand that is more gentle, well priced or as lovely as these!

How I use them: Straight over my moisturiser, or sunscreen. Buildable coverage from a light natural look to heavier coverage when I know I'll need a bit more. Also great over a liquid foundation for finishing or oil control (the bliss are really beautiful for this purpose).

Hope this helps anyone out there who is wondering if they'll be right for them.

I love to use the Finishing Powders (the "bliss" as Nicole calls them) as a stand alone powder for "no makeup" days where I need a little something extra. They really are excellent for evening out skin tone just a little and helping skin look brighter and glowier. I always appreciate hearing how *you* like to use our makeup!

Does Beauty Bliss Cosmetics Foundation Have A Specific SPF Number?

I receive this question fairly frequently and when this most recent one landed in my inbox I figured it might be useful to you, too:

Hello, I have been enjoying my recent purchase of mineral foundation, it is lovely. I see titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are the first few ingredient. Does this foundation have a specific spf number? Such as spf 15 or 30? Thank you for such a great product :)

Thanks for your question, Julia! Unofficially, the foundation has an SPF 20, roughly, based on the ratios in the formula. However, we can’t legally claim an SPF level because the products haven’t been tested in an FDA approved lab. It’s prohibitively expensive and not a cost we can currently incur. But you are absolutely correct that you have broad spectrum sun protection due to the titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.

Anyway, how are the new formulas? Do they look darker on the skin than the old formulas, as that might change things?

Thank you, Nicole! I appreciate your kind words. Our new formula goes on lighter and silkier but it is a bit darker and some folks are finding they need to adjust their colors a little bit. However, the actual color formulas have not changed at all, so it shouldn't require much tweaking to find the perfect shade.

Have you heard of or noticed Any oxidation when wearing this? Not that it would

I've formulated our colors to account for oxidation, though depending how close they match your true skin tone they may still show a bit of color change but it is nothing extreme. I truly hope our colors meet your expectations!

Our Foundation Is Amazing! (And Super Affordable!)

I wanted to rave about the samples I just got today. I could tell straight off the bat which shade was going to work on me. I had ordered like 10 samples, thanks to them being only $1 each.

So I put Cafe foundation on one side of my face and another new natural foundation on the other. I could tell immediately that yours was more natural looking. The other one made my skin look ruddy and blotchy.

Ok, then I went and put on my usual mineral makeup which I had been using for years (Mineral Hygienics). Even though it was very close in shade, yours had a little "glow" to it. Not a metallic shine, but a sheer glow which made it look luminous. My usual makeup was flat looking.

I brushed on some of your Sheer Bliss and it blurred imperfections a little more. Anyway, I'm so impressed. I've been wearing mineral makeups for decades, many different brands. Yours is very natural looking but covers well. My new favorite!

The only thing which is a little concerning is that it flies around alot because it is so finely milled.. I'm a little concerned about breathing in that powder. Is that the rice powder in the foundation? Any suggestions on how to minimize that? I'm using a flat top kabuki.

PS. Forgot the best part, it's SO affordable! $12 for a 30g jar is incredible. Thanks for making such an great product.

Finally! A Brown Eyebrow Powder That Isn't Too Dark!

FINALLY a brown brow powder that isn't super dark!! Came w/a generous sample of Sheer Bliss finishing powder, which gives a very flattering and subtle sheen. Minerals were somewhat gritty compared to some, however quality is high and for the price it's really an amazing value. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up w/a full size of the sample also b/c it's perfect for setting a creamier hilight.
